About
ATACZ: Sustainable Bags from Recycled Materials
ATACZ is a Vancouver-based brand that transforms recycled plastic bottles into minimalist, unisex bags. After building a following through its online presence, the brand expanded into physical retail with its first brick-and-mortar location, bringing its products into a tangible, in-person setting for the first time. ATACZ’s identity is grounded in sustainability and clean, functional design, and the company carries that ethos through both its products and the materials used to present them. That alignment between what the brand makes and how it presents itself shaped the priorities for its new store.
A Retail Space Rooted in Sustainability
This 1,831-square-foot retail store in Richmond, British Columbia, was completed in 2025 as a showcase for the ATACZ brand. The interior was designed to display the product line clearly and attractively, with display millwork that anchors the customer experience. Throughout the space, the design supports a clean, considered presentation that reflects the brand’s minimalist aesthetic and its commitment to sustainable, eco-conscious values.
Cutler’s Role
Cutler was pleased to provide interior design services for ATACZ’s Richmond store. Applying the art and science of architectural design to the retail environment, our team worked collaboratively with the client to create a space where the brand’s products and values take center stage. From the flow of the store to the custom display millwork, our team approached the project holistically so that no detail was overlooked in bringing the ATACZ experience to life.
