Michael Hill is a leading international fine jewellery retailer, known for accessible engagement rings, wedding bands, and everyday pieces. Founded in 1979 in Whangarei, New Zealand by Sir Michael Hill and Lady Christine Hill, the company has grown from a single store into a major global brand with locations across New Zealand, Australia, and Canada.
A Canadian Flagship at CF Pacific Centre
The CF Pacific Centre Michael Hill flagship location is the brand’s premier “New Era” hub for Western Canada. What makes this flagship unique is its focus on a sensory-driven, immersive experience that honors the brand’s New Zealand roots. The store’s design moves away from the bright, clinical lighting of the past. Instead, it uses a palette of soft greens, raw timber, and natural stone.
Cutler’s Role
Cutler provided architecture, interior design, and project management for the boutique, delivering schematic design, design development, construction documentation, building permit management, and contract administration. Guiding the project from concept through completion, our team brought Michael Hill’s new flagship concept to life while coordinating the approvals and construction required to deliver it within the CF Pacific Centre environment.
