Project Details
About
Overview of the Samsung Sherway Gardens Project
Cutler worked with Samsung Canada to design and develop their fourth brand experience store in Canada, located at Sherway Gardens in Toronto. Following successful projects in Vancouver, Richmond, and Edmonton, this location marked Samsung’s first retail expansion into Ontario.
The goal was to create an environment where customers could explore Samsung’s full range of mobile and electronic products through an engaging and seamless retail design.
The space features streamlined architectural details, clean surfaces, and a subtle futuristic aesthetic. The commercial interior design focuses on openness and light, using low-iron glass panels and angled entrances to draw customers into the experience.
Inside, visitors move freely through an airy, well-lit environment that highlights key product displays. The open storefront design allows the interior to become part of the overall visual impact, reinforcing Samsung’s innovative and forward-thinking brand.
Cutler’s role included full interior architecture and design support, ensuring the space not only met aesthetic goals but also performed functionally within a high-traffic retail setting. The result is a
Toronto retail space that combines brand consistency, modern design, and a customer-focused layout.
